The Guys Pool Party is back again. Located in the pool area of the hotel, this men’s only event is a great way to kick back, enjoy the warm water and meet some of the guys attending FE13.

Prior to the Buffet and Fashion Show next door, join us in the Vendor Area for an hour of drinks, conversation and maybe a little shopping with First Event’s on-site vendors and organizations.

Fashion Show

The First Event Fashion Show continues to be a social highlight of the conference. It’s the place to see and be seen! Show up in your best outfit for a lively night of dining, drinking, and of course, model-gazing! Friday night starts off with a cocktail hour at 6:00 in the vendor area, followed by a buffet dinner at 7:00 in the back ballroom. The fun really begins with the fashion show right after dinner.

Dozens of beautiful models will strut their stuff on our extra-long runway. They’ll show off fashions from popular local vendors and from their own private wardrobes. If previous years are any indication, some of them may be showing off a bit more than just their clothes! Get there early to grab one of the prime tables along the runway, and be sure to bring a camera.

Several local businesses will be sponsoring models with donated outfits for the Fashion Show:

  • Glamour Boutique (www.TGFashions.com), 850 Southbridge Street, Auburn, MA, which specializes in clothes and accessories for cross dressers.
  • Florence’s Fashions, 68 Albion Street, Wakefield, MA, which has catered to the transgender community for many years.
  • Buffalo Exchange (www.BuffaloExchange.com), new and recycled fashion with locations nationwide including locally in Somerville and Alston MA.
  • Keezers Classic Clothing (www.keezers.com), 140 River Street, Cambridge, MA, offering the best value in new and used menswear since 1895.

Dance the night away beginning after the show in Sophia’s Lounge. A cover charge is required for those not registered for the conference.
